Terms of Service
Last updated: 21 May 2026.
These Terms govern your use of the Glory devotional mobile app and the website at glory.cc (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Glory is operated as a personal project. Contact: gloryccapp@outlook.com.
1. The Service
Glory delivers Christian devotional content drawn from classic public-domain works and licensed contemporary writings, presented as short structured readings (“Glimpses”) with optional audio. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial spiritual reading.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher). By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement.
3. Your account
You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access at gloryccapp@outlook.com.
4. Free trial and subscriptions
Glory offers a free per-device trial and a paid subscription billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Trial length, subscription price, and renewal cadence are shown to you before you commit. Subscriptions auto-renew through the store; you can cancel or change them at any time in your Apple or Google account settings. Refunds are governed by Apple’s and Google’s policies; we cannot process refunds directly.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, redistribute, or resell Glory content outside the app, except for the short sharing links Glory itself provides.
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass authentication or rate limits on the app or its APIs.
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm others, or to violate any law.
- Create more than one account to abuse the free trial.
6. Content ownership
Public-domain source texts remain in the public domain. Licensed contemporary writings remain the property of their authors or publishers and are used by Glory under licence. The arrangement, layout, summaries, prompts, audio narration, illustrations, software, and trademarks (collectively the “Glory Content”) are owned by Glory or licensed to Glory and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to use Glory Content for your own devotional reading. All other rights are reserved.
7. AI-generated content
Some summaries and reflections in Glory are produced by large language models from source book text and then reviewed by a human before publishing. We aim for faithfulness to the original author, but AI-assisted material can occasionally misrepresent or paraphrase. Treat Glimpses as a thoughtful entry point, not a replacement for the original work or for sound pastoral counsel.
8. Termination
You can stop using Glory at any time and delete your account from the Profile screen in the app or by following the steps on the Delete Account page. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, or that we reasonably believe is being used to abuse the Service.
9. Disclaimers
Glory is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect accuracy of content, or fitness for any specific spiritual or pastoral purpose. Devotional reading is not a substitute for professional counselling, medical advice, or theological direction from a qualified pastor.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Glory is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you have paid Glory in the twelve months before the claim.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. The “Last updated” date at the top changes when we do. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the change means you accept the new Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Glory’s operator is resident, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Where local consumer-protection law gives you stronger rights, those rights still apply.
